Outreach Ministry Overview
The Outreach Ministry of Bridge Builders Church International (BBCI) has a group of people who are committed and dedicated to serve in the Outreach ministry. Whether serving in Prison /Jail ministry, Street Team, Nursing Home or Hospital Ministry, all are important to connect people to Christ and the ministry of BBCI. The Outreach Ministry is a vital part of BBCI. We have all been commissioned to Love our brothers as ourselves and through different areas of outreach we are determined to bridge the gap between religion and reality. We are committed to finding out where there is a need and then meeting those needs in the lives of others.
Goals & Plans
There are approximately 30 members who are signed up to serve in Outreach Ministry. The goal for Outreach Ministry will be to increase the number of volunteers to help assist in this mission. While membership is important we will strive to train every member to reach out and begin to minister in every area of the ministry. We will strive to see souls saved and thousands delivered because of the yoke destroying power of God flowing throughout the ministries. To assist with the implementation of these plans all volunteers will participate in monthly training and each ministry will be developed to operate in excellence.
Our Vision
To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ with simplicity, understanding and love. We envision the transforming power of God’s word will break destructive thought and behavior patterns that destroy lives, create social isolation and spiritual separation from God.
We envision lives of inmates participating in our Spiritual Freedom Ministry will be rehabilitated to the glory of God.
We foresee a decrease in the number of inmates released from correctional facilities returning to a life of crime after paying their debt to society, as a result of practical support services and the teaching of the gospel.
We envision participants in the Spiritual Freedom Ministry will become responsible adults improving the quality of life while incarcerated and enabling them to become productive citizens when they return to their families, their communities and to society.
