Dear Partner, This is the time of year where many are joyous and excited about the buying and receiving of gifts and spending time with friends and family. On the other hand there will be many sad and depressed due to the lack of friends and family and the pressures of these economic times. But don’t lose hope; this letter comes to bring you good news. I want to encourage you that no matter what your circumstances or situations may be, realize that you have something to celebrate and to be excited about; and that is the Birth of your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”(Luke 2:11-14) What a marvelous day it was when Jesus the Christ, the son of the living God, the one who possessed the Anointing of God for our lives, was born into the earth to bring peace to all men and to establish the Kingdom of God: A New Way of Living for all who would believe in Him. Think about it! Christ (the anointed one) that was prophesied about in Isaiah 10:27, the one who would come to remove all burdens and destroy all yokes was born to make sure you would have nothing missing and nothing broken in your life. He was able to accomplish this by submitting to the Authority of God and becoming obedient to the Will of God for His life. Like Jesus, God has a plan and purpose for your life and it will require the same level of submission to the Authority of God and obedience to the Will of God for your life. Regardless of what you may face or what you have to go through, it won’t compare with what Jesus went through. Make a decision to focus on the important thing in life, the Will or Word of God so that you can one day hear, “well done my good and faithful servant.” Let Christmas this year be more about the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and not just about food and gifts. Realize that the greatest gift has already been given and because of that, success for you is INEVITABLE. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) When God sowed the seed of his only begotten Son, he had the world on his mind. You and I as born again believers are the harvest of that seed sown. As you sow your seed during this holiday season, know that you are sowing into the Kingdom of God and the harvest you receive will be greater than you could ever imagine. Not only will you benefit, but others that will hear the good news of the gospel, as a result of your seed sown, will benefit as well. Pastor Alesia and I continue to pray for you daily. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you in the New Year. Remember, Jesus is Lord and in all your getting, get understanding so that you can Bridge the Gap between Religion and Reality. Much Love, Darius & Alesia Crayton PS. I want to encourage you that as you are shopping and sharing with family and friends this year; “Stay out of Debt,” “Owe no man anything, but to love him.” (Rom. 13:8) |
