A native of Decatur, Al., Pastor Darius G. Crayton attended Austin High School and received a full athletic scholarship to John C. Calhoun Community College. After two years he transferred to Tuskegee Institute where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Pastor Crayton received the call into the ministry in January 1992 while attending Faith Tabernacle in Florence, Al. Through employment with Lockheed Martin, he transferred to Atlanta, GA. And in February 1993 became a member of World Changers Church International, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Creflo A. Dollar. He served as a Pastor’s Personal Aide and as a leader within the Prison Ministry until 1999. In May of 1999, being led of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Crayton entered into full time ministry as an employee of World Changers Ministries. He served as an Administrator overseeing Marketing, Sales, Publications and Vision Partners Ministries.

In November of 2001, he received the vision for Bridge Builders Church International (BBCI). The first church service was held May 19, 2002 at the Country Inn & Suites in Decatur AL.
